Country primitive lamp with a wooden base and metal venetian blind lampshade.  This lamp is old and the paint is genuinely faded - it's not a new item "primmed up"!

The metal shade was originally red and had been repainted to a copper color.  These venetian blind shades were popular in the 1950s.
